| I can imagine your frustration. I do not really have a solution for you as I somehow circumvent your problem. For hip pads I just use a piece of thick foam rubber that I put under my trousers. And I don't have any knee gaskets. Probably you don't really need them with Smith Scabs. And I would say it wouldn't be a problem to order Smith Scabs online if you can find a source for them.
