I think that it IS worthy of the Olympics. I also think that the current Olympic system is NOT worthy of the world's people. It is one big butt kissing political crap-fest! It no longer represents the ideals of what the Olympics should represent.
And television coverage of the Olympics here in the U.S. is a travesty. They spend more time hyping the Olympics, and then they only show you the bits and pieces that they choose to show you. It is ALL about the money and the power.

: Shit, let's get vertical rollerskating as a sport. There are so few of us that we all could represent our countries and have them pay for us to travel and skate together. I would not care about how I placed, but would love hanging out with you all.
