| You can do a lot with your skates. If you get more serious with vert skating, you will at least need hard wheels. Maybe broaders trucks for grinding and some construction for sliding. But first you should learn to ride the ramp. When you are confident with pushing, airials and dropping in it's probably time to upgrade your skates.
Remember: It#'s mire important to go out ans skate than to have the ultimate skate (which doesn't exist anyway). More than one roller skater forgot to skate on the quest for the ultimate skate.
