I forgot about the problems Bernhard had with PhotoBucket so........
Hey Jay how the fugn hell are ya mate.Just wanted to make sure you knew that I wasn't taking anything away from your new move,I figured if I gave you the info early on in the peace that you could opt,,if you so desired,, to start throwing your legs out front and leaning back,,or you could just keep doing it your way and still be fugn rad.
I guess I brought it up cos the trick has been around so long and even with its variations it still involves laying back on your planted arm.
At the end of the day,if it feels good then do it.

cheers joe

I uploaded this video to Vimeo which I always forget about for some reason.
Anyway, this is me doing a layback tonight @ Area 702....

Yeah, strange thing about Photobucket. I could view your first video, but my browser crashed on the second one. Go figure ...

On the laybaxk air: In my book, this is a layback air. It's the way I have been doing them and I frankly admit that Joe had some much more stylish examples. Nevertheless, I'd say it really is a layback air.

  Hey Bernhard.
Thank you for that, Brother. But, as I said in my thread subject, they're really half-ass. Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE doing these half-ass layback airs!!! And I LOVE that I've learned my 1st genuine NEW trick in more years than I can honestly remember!
Having said that, you look @ the images of guys doing REAL laybacks, be they airs or grinds, & you can see that they're raising the bar at least 2 solid notches from what I'm doing! But I'm loving it. And I've got something to work towards now. :) Thank you, Joe90.....& Brian Wainwright....& Scott Stahlecker....& Ludi....... & you know I'll never forget.....Brother Duke!
Thanks again though, Bernhard. I'd love to see some images...film of you doing a layback. Half-ass or full-ass up to you! LOL!
PEACE......................Jay

  Hey Joe,
Chill, Bro. It's all Good. I asked for criticism & advice! And I said I learned 'halfass' laybacks. I KNOW they aren't real ones. Yet. ;-) I appreciate ALL the info/insights/advice/criticism. That's the most productive benefit of the Forum in my opinion.
Thanks for the pics. All copied onto my PC for study! Keep rippin. Saw your McTwist on PB. KILLER KILLER KILLER!!
PEACE................................................. Jay
