cool to see erm read you again! Hope you are having fun on your skates.

: Thanx for the headsup Bernard. At my level of computer expertise I would still have been trying to fix an ephemeral ghost in the machine when the maintenance finally was complete and so would would have incorrectly assumed I somehow actually fixed it when the forum came back online.

You are right, we shouldn't try to fix things that are not broken. Only it's sometimes hard to tell which is the case.

	Hi, my hoster informs me of upcoming network maintenance on June 26 between 2 and 5 AM local time. During this time reach-ability of the forum could be affected. This translates to: Los Angeles time: 2010, June 25, 5 to 8 PM. New York time: 2010. June 25, 8 to 11 PM. Melbourne time: 10 AM to 1 PM. There well meaning choice of local night time therefore means that the bulk of the users of the forum might be affected.
