thicker plates

Hi Lee,

thaks for all the info and pics!

The slider problem definitely is one worth solving well ... perhaps the single block design with a hollow base? (eg cell blocks as base, then one block made out of the material you described, which can be replaced quickly and easily)

Keep us updated,

Tobi

i have been using 1\8th inch thick diamond plate alluminium for my plates, this is really light but not very strong, i kept bending the toe stops back every time i bailed a hand plant.

i just put on 1\4 inch plates - since i added slider blocks i really cant tell about the added wieght

just holding both plates in my hand you dont really notice a huge difference in weight...
