Trip to Paris
I had a blast in Paris!
Thanks for introducing me to skating vert and riding sidestance, zorg! Paris seems to have a very vibrant vert community, it was nice and inspiring to hang out with these guys.

I will soon put a 2013/2014 edit on youtube, including footage from my first vert session.

In the meantime, I've found out there's a decent vert a ten minute train ride from here, in a nearby town. Definitely worth checking out, if you ask me. And so I will, coming thursday.
Another thing I will check out, is a local vert, here in Leiden. I've already been told years ago that it needed maintenance. I suppose it won't have improved by itself, on the contrary, but I'll still have a look whether it's simple enough to fix by myself.

 Hey guys,

I feel guilty for not posting more. The times I've been skating last couple of months have been great! I've revisited the bowl in Ypenburg with that friend from the video I posted three years ago (tempus fugit - but my skates have been withstanding the test of time so far) and I've been to the Marnixbowl for the first time, also with Marcio.
Unfortunately, we didn't bring cameras on both occasions.

Now - my dad and I will go to Paris from the 19th until the 23rd of june. Which is in eleven days already.
So...
Dear zorg, would you be interested in meeting up? Are there more quadskaters in Paris? I hope you'll have time on one of those days. I intend to take my skates along and go hit the skateparks as well.

 Hi Thomas, it will be a pleasure to ride with you. Depending on the weather, saturday or sunday should be ok for me, why not in Boutroux ramps in Paris? It would be better for my ankle. If you can try during the week the Champigny vert, you should have less kids playing on them. I can help you for the other parks. You can email me if you want zorgdotnl at yahoo dot com.
You also have cruising sessions along the streets of Paris friday night and sunday afternoon (rando roller et coquillage) with many people on quads ;)

 Cool to hear that you had a good time in Paris. Also very nice that this experience opened your eyes for the vert treasures in your vicinity.

Not much vert riding on my side, sadly. But I might organize a session on our local ramp.

I'm looking forward to your video footage!
