| Go Side-surf, what we used to call it. I started parallel, like everyone else. Being with skateboarders, and borrowing their tricks and styles, sideways makes more sense. A true frontside and backside (you can't see coping) makes it more fun and challenging. Just keep going around things on flat ground, take some curving S-hills and really work going around things frontside on the ground, try jumping over stuff on flat in the side position. Give it a try on the ramps, it gets easier. Any questions?
