Trucks
I keep mine fairly tight. I think they'd be looser if they were wider. My trucks are about 3 inches wide, from bearing to bearing. I guess it's personal preference and comfort level.

 Hi guys. Just a quick question I wanted to ask. I was wondering how tight most ramp skaters like to set their trucks. Since most of the time you're travelling in a straight line or following the curves of the particular ramp you happen to be skating and not having to lean to the left or right as you would skating around a rink, do you keep your trucks tighter than normal for extra stability?

A very good question. I think the answer is also a very individual one. I've got the trucks of my ramp skate quite tight. That gives me more stability. But I know of other ramp skaters who keep their trucks less tight to have more manoeverability. They can correct slight errors this way when landing e.g. a McTwist. I think it is easier for a beginner to have tighter trucks. I also think it's not well suited to side stance riding when you have tight trucks.

 I have my trucks very tight....but I dont ride sidestance...
what about boots???do you have tight boots??Ive just got some old skateboots...like airwalks really....hi-tops..

My boots are tight. I've got some very solid leather ice hockey boots. You can see them in my "How to build a vertical rollerskate". They are too inflexible at the ankle for my taste, however. I had some ice hockey boots before those that weren't as tight. I had to replace them because they were worn out.

i have mine pretty tight
i like a bit of movement though

 riding side stance mostly I like my trucks pretty loose with soft gromments. When riding a pool or park I really like to be able to carve tight lines, for a big vert ramp I might tighten them up a bit.
