My name is Lola. I'm writting you from Madrid.I'm not a vert roller, although I confess I really like all about it. I've uploaded a short video that maybe you would like to see. It's an old TV report about Marcos Longares.

thank you very much for the video! I appreciate this very much. I met Marcos at several contests and I had a good time skating with him. I always remember him as a very nice guy. It's a pity that I haven't seen him in a long time. Do you know him?

 Hi Bernhard,

No, unfortunately I do not know him. And I am afraid I can not be of help because I even do not know anyone who had seen him for years. All the people I know loosed Marcos trail when he focussed on snowboarding, and this was lot of years ago. Sorry.

I hope your knee get completely recovered in a very short period of time.

thank you for the info. Who knows, maybe he reappears some day. Anyway, I am happy that the scene in Spain is quite alive and I am very pleased to hear that you are skating the ramp on roller skates, too.

And thank you for the good wishes. My knee is much better now and I have the feeling that I can do almost anything with it. At least I can skate a mini ramp which is quite a lot. :-)

thanks for this information. In order to find the video, I wrote another functionality for the forum to browse through the video links posted by you all. It is not quite finished, but you can already have a look at the Video browser.

Anyhow, now I could see Lola and enjoyed watching the video!

Thank you very much for your kind and exaggerated words, I know you say that to encourage me, but please don't do it again... or I will have to kill you!!
To be honest I must say that I have more than enough trying to overcome my fears in miniramps learning the easiest tricks, what even is becoming a terribly slow proccess, and of course, a real challenge!

And Torru!
Don't worry about the work coming to get your new rollerskates assembled.... Get worried for all the questions I'm going to make you all and the endless explications that I'm afraid I'm going to need till I become able to assemple my "ramp" roller skates. Je, je...

 Hi Lola,

I know that people tend to exaggerate sometimes. But I have seen you skating on the Lyon video and I liked it! Go Lola! And I also know the challenge doing even the stuff which is the most basic to the good skaters. I am not a good´ramp skater myself but 99.9 % of the time I had a good time with other vert roller skaters. They are a very nice bunch and they appreciate it when there are fresh people trying this crazy stuff (even more so when those fresh people are girls).

And please don't kill Isra. There are already way too few roller skaters! ;-)

You are welcome. But it is double fun for me. I not only enjoy skating but also taking pictures and programming. And if I can program something useful, I am quite happy about it.
