| Andy Peerless was a local legend when I started skating at the South Bank in London in the mid-80s. He used to skate at the South Bank with a lot of the locals - Martin Sweeney, Ed Brockman, who rode boards and rollerskates, before relocating to the Rom skatepark, where he built the vert ramp in its various incarnations, then the mini-ramps. This obviously set him up for his current business of rampbuilding full time. I remember stories of hip replacements, due to repeated slamming on the concrete at Romford - not sure of validity of these stories.
