Subject:	New skates!
Content:	I finished them, YIPPEE!!! Now I'm set for life. :-D I will shorten the bolts some cause they seem pretty close to the hanger if I put my trucks super loose. I cut down the tracker plates, trimmed up the heel, took out rivets, etc. No blood this time, just sore hands. The plastic in the sole was super hard so I didnt use any washers. I dont think it will pull through. The nuts I have for the mounting bolts arent the ones with rubber, but have these locking washers on them. They loosen some, should I change them? On my other skates I tighten them up once a month. If it squeaks I know to tighten them. The only problem I see is that one plate I centered a mm or 2 too far out compared to the other one. I guess it wont be a problem. Most places mount plates up to 4 mm to the inside which I hate cause then you feel like the skates are going to skate in. But I"m a perfectionist so I can see if I mess up a mm. Otherwise, rode them in the kitchen and they are awesome, feel perfect! These plates are 1/4" longer, OK for stability for street. I've got a double air pillow in these plus an insole that molds to your foot, so extra cushiony for jumping! These run wide so I could do this. :-D No, I didnt get any other work done yesterday lol.

	I'll test them out within 2-3 weeks at landsdowne. And now I can use these skates for parks that are asphalt which might mess up my good wheels and then I can switch skates for the halfpipes. So I made these skates to save money on axel nuts lol? So far they feel wide and square. I'm not sure I would like these type of wheels for bowls. Vert ramps would be fine! I like the skinny round wheels for tight bowls best so far. : Very nice setup!!!!! With brand new Rainskate Tsunami for carving ditches?!!! yayaya!!! Now I just need my hip to heal real good. These will be my skates for rough surfaces, asphalt, ditches/rough concrete like landsdown (built in the 70s), streets, etc., so these skates will have softer wheels. I'm loving the cockroaches for hard wheels, so far my favorite! I'm happy that now I can ride similar set ups, should help me out I think!

	Maybe no sliders. Nothing to slide on streets and landsdowne. For now this is my street/landsdowne set (rough terrain) and in case I need to repair my other; : Boots: BAUER : Plates: TRACKER (Where Can I Buy?) Cant buy it. I spent an arm and leg on ebay and cut it down. : Trucks: Tracker (Midtrack, 85mm) : Wheels: Mini Tsunamis (85a) : Bearings: Rocket Rons Now I need to find a way to make my ripped muscles heal. It feels like a huge scab still, like it will rip if I move/bend quickly. I think I re-ripped some muscle fibers. Its very tight today. Anyone hints? This really makes me sad!! 	: But I think if you glued some 0.05" aluminum sheet metal on both sides of some hardwood, you could cut your own. Just line up the bases really even, figure out how long you want the axel distance, trace, drill holes and cut off 1 mm extra off each side of the distance of the base plates. In principle you are right, but the gluing process seems to be difficult. I know of some people in Germany who tried to imitate the Tracker base. They used some special glue and even then managed to destroy the plates skating. I have to mention that this roller skater was some tough guy, however. He once split the coping of a ramp by doing a handplant to front flip and not diving into the ramp correctly but sitting on the coping with his hind quarters.

I signed the papers 2 weeks ago! Still nothing. Its really expensive too. So I havent pushed them again since I'm trying to put away money for rent. Right now I'm in fear of losing my job since they want someone totally amazing (creatively/designs) and I seem to not be living up to their standards. I put in 200% and thats not enough it seems. I dont think they can do anything for it either. I can walk so its not totally ruptured. Its swollen but my pants still are falling off me so not extremely so. Just not healed. I'm sad!! I need an outlet after work!

If you can do this, maybe it helps. I will check into the pool, but I think only really early Sat mornings I can go since I work all day. I"m sure I could put a buoy in my legs. I hate swimming but I'm hating sitting all day long more. The cost of living right now is so high for me. Between food, rent and gas, I'm almost broke already. And I dont even eat out nor eat high off the food chain. Well, today went OK. One day I do good, the next its "the worst thing I've ever seen. This really sucks!" My coworker gets the same. We are both looking for a new job. I think I still have time. I dont think she will find anyone better then me. Not for designing toys. I just wish I had my outlet after work. Thats worse then anything that can happen during the day. With skating, I still come home on top the world no matter what happens.
