Everyone in vacation
:: What a ramp!

yeah the ramp looked pretty cool but I did not get the chance to ride it before I had to leave. I skate the skatepark in Lot 8, varried terrain, quarter pipes, pyramid, hips, rails.....

:
: Haven't heard of him in a long time. How is he doing?

Chris is doing great. He has made Woodward his home and he rips it. We had a good session.

I headed home but my lesson on Sunday got cancelled, I skated my friends back yard pool. I have to say that it was the most challanging thing I have skated in a long time. Really good transistions, but deep and lots of vert, very tight and fast. I will post some pictures when I return, I was having so much fun I forgot to get the camera out.

: Sounds like you are having a great time.

Great Trip and a fast 1200 miles 4 skate spots, two with pool coping!

OH!! I thought vacation was getting away from kids, work, responsibilities, etc. I'm on winter hiatus. Unable to skate because the freakin' snow won't go away. :)

BTW Irene, the cd rom arrived last week. Just barely too. The case was smashed but the cd was safe inside.

Neither injured nor snow. Just warm and cozy. And great waves. Alas, I didn't try surfing ...

 : actually, yes. I am on a vacation of sorts this weekend. It all started on Thursday when I drove up to the Potomic Mill Vans Park in DC to teach a lesson to 14 year old. A side surfer who took it to the parks for the first time about a year ago. He has been riding rollerskates since age 4. He rips!!! and learned more very quickly. Next stop Philly on Friday to take care of some business and see some friends. I ended up riding at 360 skate spot www.360skatespot.com A fun place with lots of young guns having charging it. Today I am up at Woodward Camp to work on my web site and check out the new vert ramp in cloud nine. 13Ft Tall with 11Ft transition and 50Ft wide. Should be nice, Chris Edwards is here and I look forward to riding with him. Tommorow I will head back home. stopping in DC for another lesson and a back yard session at a friends house.

This is great! In 1990 I got aquainted to a 14 year old who has been riding since age 6. He has grown a bit lazy, however. His skates are out of work and he is looking for special U-bolt king mounting screws to build some new ones. Hard to get by those screws, however.

: and learned more very quickly.

They learn very fast when they are that young. I hope he continues enjoying roller skating.
