	Hey Everybody! Just a friendly Reminder: Exactly 5 weeks til the start of the 2009 RollerCon Sk8 Park Tour hosted here in Sin City by yours truly. I know the Economy Sucks this year. :( I totally feel that myself, but that's another story. However, RollerCon is an EXPERIENCE like None Other, People! Seriously. If you don't believe me, ask someone else who's been there! Irene, Duke, Desi, Lee....I think they'd all tell you, it's something you GOTTA DO. At least once. I know Irene, Duke, Desi & for the 1st time Brother Biff are all coming this year. I hope more of you can find a way to make it. But I know getting here can be prohibitively costly for most of you. But, if you needed any MORE Motivation to come to the 2009 RollerCon SK8 Park Tour, I give you this, the Official 2009 RollerCon SK8 Park Tour Logo, modeled by my son, Ryder. I guess I'm just manly challenged. :( The shirts are just something I've done last year & I guess I'll do s few this year, but they're not something that's mass-produced. Or even for sale. Last year I did like a dozen for the homies, that's it. Cost me a couple hundred bucks, but a cool momento. I don't have any pics of last year's shirts. But this is Ryder wearing his onesie version: But the T-shirts actually had Large Image on back & small image (same) on front left breast. I'm not even sure I'm making shirts this year really. But I wanted to get people Psyched about RC. I can't see myself wearing the PITA version either. Of course, I feel pretty funny wearing me on a shirt too. What are you gonna do? I like wearing my Dying Breed shirts with Duke on 'em. :) So you definitely WILL be at Stops 3 (Fri) & 4 (Sat)??? Cuz that area 702 park Sat night (www.skatearea702.com) is Bad-Ass AND Indoors (important in Desert in August!) with Killer Vert-Ramp, Killer Wooden Bowl, & Cool new Mini-Vert along with street course. I've rented entire Facility for our use. It's gonna be Epic. 	I have to finish my t-shirt designs. I want one with Irene! Thats a vert skater shirt I would like. I prefer not to have derby anything shirt myself. You would like mine of Brians, although not sure if hes currently skating. I hope I can get up early and might go to the bowls and drop in the deep end of the bowl. I cant keep being scared..... :-O : I'm definitely going to be there for the three middle days on the tour. Not the first day, or the last day. I'd also definitely wear a shirt like last years. Or especially one with "The Dying Breed" on it! That would be very cool! I'd be more than happy to pay for that. If not, I'll have to get one made myself! That is, if you give me the go ahead to use the art. : : I might go to the skate park tomorrow morning. Will try to get video. : : Getting psyched, : Biff

They have their niche, and they deserve it. They work hard for it. : : But, we also work hard for our niche. I don't want to feel like Derby girl 'left overs'. I'm proud of my craft. HEY! I put a Derby Girl on this year's flyer (thus making her this year's logo) because it's through the Derby girls that I have met so many people. I have a direct affiliation with them through RollerCon. But my Heart belongs to Vert! Make No Mistake. And the shirts are something my wife did last year. Truth to tell shirts with me on them make me feel kinda weird. I wanted a Derby Girl this year (my 3rd) because I LOVE Vert SO MUCH I'm trying to expose as many People as possible to it. And these days, other than us, derby is where the other rollerskaters are! But if anyone wants a shirt like last year's let me know in time for RC with your size & I'll get it made for you. They'll have the logo from last year's flyer on them, just the image of me doing handplant on the words "Rollercon Skatepark Tour"... here's that flyer: And Biff, you asked about Dying Breed shirts those I believe Brother Duke has for sale still, but not sure..... 	I like the shirt with you on it!!!! To me, you cant claim to be a vert skater until you've spent some time/energy into making vert skates. Derby skates rolling around in a bowl dont count to me, either does skating ramps a handful times a year count.
