Hi Kids.
I, too, was stricken with a flu that did nasty things to my digestive system.
It was unpleasant.
But it's a new year & FINALLY, I'm feeling like my old self again. I hope Joe & Biff are feeling better as well as anyone else who has been under the weather. Get Well!
So, I just wanted to say hey to my peeps on the Forum. Hey.
Has anyone been skating lately? Any footage? I haven't skated since 12/05/09. :-( And on that day I took a pretty bad slam just about an hour into a 5+ hour session that was over 3 hours away in the cramped car we took. I tweaked a couple fingers on my right hand pretty bad (they're still jacked) & got a cut in my eyebrow that bled like CRAZY.
So, I sat in the car for 3 1/2 hours while the boarders I went with skated. It was lame. But I understand. I probably would've kept skating if one of them had needed stitches instead of me.
Anyway, that's about all I've got, Kids. I hope you all are fairing well in this new year.
Oh, I've heard from a cat named Charles Eric Schumacher who is a vert rollerskater in North Carolina (BW territory!) & he's stoked about RollerCon. I've also heard from Ufra & he's interested in coming out this year.

This will be where the Derby Girls will be Headquartered this year. I, will be leading an expedition to 5 KILLER Sk8Parks here in town. For the 4th consecutive year, I'm happy to say. And, for the 2nd year in a row, I'll be renting the only indoor vert park in town for our exclusive 8-wheeled usage. I'd love to see as many quad people as possible come out this year.
Mr Brian Wainwright (BW) has told me he's coming. I just spoke with Brother Duke yesterday. He's coming, of course. He actually just skated yesterday for the 1st time since I skated with him in San Diego in November. He's been busy since purchasing a new home. His lovely wife Karen sent me this pic yesterday morning with the text "wish you were here" I wish I had been too. Duke said he skated for nearly 3 hours & had a great session. Check the Pacific in the BG.
