Hey everyone,

Glad to see this forum's still up.
Five years ago I had a tiny tear in one of those tendons that go from your heels to your toes. Wasn't even a skating related injury. I can have a day that's just a bit too long and the tendon hurts. Dancing at a party. Going shopping.
Hurts more than just the physical part of course.

Ironic, as I used to be the kind of prick who'd tell others at the skatepark who wouldn't wear pads that "we'll see who'll still skate when they're 40."

Any foot doctor here fell short. All this time I've been hearing "with this injection/this insole/these shoes you'll be able to skate again within three months" and being expensive empty promises they're worse than worthless.

It's almost masochistic, but lately I've been watching skate documentaries and trying to remember what it was like to soar in the pool.

But I suppose I'm being too negative saying all that. Thanks for letting me vent.

Really grateful you keep the sites up, Bernhard. We're blessed to have you keeping this part of our culture alive.

Cheers <3
