| : Hi Tobi, yes I designed the Great Falls park. I let grindline make what ever they wanted in between the 2 bowls, and they chose to make the over vert pocket and the funnel. I like the over vert pocket but the funnel cuts a hole in the side of the pool that you would use to set up for the pocket. I think the funnel is a waiste of concrete but you never know. In the future maybe everyone will be doing the pipe.
I have found that after you build a park there are a few things you think could be better but that is natural and somehow I have to figure a way to be able to go back and work on it a little. But I didn't get paid for 3 weeks of overtime as it was. Thanks, I skated it and love it. 80 kids stood around the pool while I did an impromtue demo and they said I went as high as the pros. I am most proud that there were 80 kids at the park. Montana is not a huge population center.
: Hi
:
: I googled around a bit, here's what I found:
:
: This page mentions an interview with Tim Altic; does anyone have this issue of "Skateboard!"?
: They also feature a pic of Tim in the over vert Orange half pipe.
:
: Here are some nice comments about the skate parks he builds.
:
: Then I found pics and "fly through" flicks of the Great Falls skate park. It looks really great. Tim, did you participate in the design of that park?
:
: Then I found a list of "Vertical Roller Skaters" with links.

: Tobi
