sidestance
I havent yet been able to go sidestance on ramps so sure I have stuff to learn here! I prefer for now to stick learning stuff where my wheels are in contact with the surface so maybe I can learn to do a little sidestance one day. I hope Irene posts as her anatomy is closest to mine. :-D I think I'm natural as parallel but I have a decent turn out.

: I almost exclusively skate parallel.

: With respect to stability, I would guess that a wider stance is more stable (your center of gravity is lower, you have more room for corrective action and a wider base is generally more stable).
:
: Apart from that, I would say that it is also a question of individual anatomy. People just have tendons of different length and flexibility and you can change only that much with stretching.
