I made both of these last month from footage taken in November and posted them on Skatelog a few days ago.

This one is the new park in Lockhart, TX the day after grand opening. My nephew is on the skateboard. He is also learning to skate the parks on quads, but that will be in future videos. I originally wanted to get Biff and Tim A in this but failed to get any footage while they were present.

The second was done at Jaws in New Braunfels, TX. My baby sister Mary is progressing nicely since her return to the skateparks a few months ago.

It is fun running the chaser cam to get some of this footage!

Hey BH!
Good Stuff, Brother!
That 1st park looked KILLER! And I LOVE the soundtrack. (My baby boy's middle name is Layne, an homage to my favorite vocalist.) The flow of that park looked great.
And, while the 2nd park looked a bit small for my taste, it's ALWAYS great to see rollerskaters progressing in their park skills. Your sister is coming along nicely. She carves really naturally.
And I know what you mean about the sk8-cam/chase-cam being Fun!
Keep 'em coming!
PEACE....
Jay

 I saw a masked stranger at 1:18!!
Or was that the masked Lone Ranger?

Btw, how is Treys' ankle?

That masked person was my eldest sister Eileen who also did most of the camera work for that video. The wind was blowing in from the north at 25-30 mph that morning, and she was afraid it would trigger her allergies. Also, later that day she was trying to ride a skateboard on the flat area of the park and fell backwards, catching herself with her hands. She went to the doctor the next day and was found to have aggravated an old wrist injury... it was dislocated. She has healed up now without any treatment other than wearing a brace to immobilize the joint while it healed. Her doctor has just given her permission to skate again.

Trey fell at the park while rolling around in the pro-bowl at Jaws on Sunday morning. His lower fibula snapped from the forces encountered. Surgery was performed Thursday including a metal plate screwed in seven places to ensure the broken bone will heal properly.

I actually knew that was Eileen. Just pulling that chain that was hanging down from your chin.

Dang!! Tell Trey to get better and that I hope he heals fast. Really sorry about that injury.

Sorry to hear about those falls and that surgery. I wish Trey a speedy and good revovery! At least it contributes to the ever growing collection of xrays seen here in the forum.

CAPTCHA is "performs bush". I leave it to our American friends to interpret this.
