| I've always taken definition from skateboarding as(after they ripped off airs, handplants and pool skateing in general from Kenny Means)they invented most of the moves we all do now,,generaly speaking. With that in mind, a stale air is frontside air with your trailing arm grabbing the backside rail and a Japan air is basicly a mute or a backside air with your front hand grabing your frontside rail and tweaking your nose up your back.
B Wainwright Japan(natrual going backside)
J Memba stale(goofy going frontside)
A.MacJapan air
Billy Harrison.Stale air.
